gosh. i haven't blogged in such awhile i nearly wanted to do this either in twitter style or facebook style.


paris is pretty. a nice place to visit, but you end up only VISITING, and not really shopping, since everything is expensive there. we stayed with carmen's relatives, so kinda saved a little there. i'm a little too lazy to post about paris, so i don't really want to type much. went for a river cruise, to the louvre, pantheon, eiffel tower (saw the night sparkles, but never went up, even though we went there like twice because the queue was so freaking long), versailles, and je ne souviens pas. and i had my first cherry picking experience!!! and it was done in the neighbour's garden (which was totally allowed).

am currently in london. staying in this place above a pub, so it's pretty cool. but the room kinda sucks. 9 in a room, and not really a lot of space. why do i need the space? shopping in london is fucking fantastic.

i don't want to go into details about the amount of money i've spent already, but in all, i've bought like 40 items (clothes, shoes, dvds, and cds). Average price of each item is NOT that expensive. and i'm still going shopping tomorrow.


the only thing limiting me now is luggage space. :( and i've already shipped back like 20kg.

and we went to this crêpe restaurant for dinner. and you actually had to do reservations. :S

but it was really good. bretagne is famous for crêpes and apple cider, and i had both. they drink cider out of this cup that looks like a big teacup. my host told me cider, in the past, was drank from bowls.

dessert was crêpe as well, and i had this crépe suvette, which is alcoholic. with cognac and something idk. tasted really good. someone should import that restaurant back home.

the 'new' laptops are fucking fantastic. a 13" mbp. can anyone scream, "i want!"? and faster processors and bigger hard disk drives.

the new iphone's pretty good as well. 32g worth of memory space, with a better camera (though only 3gigs) and runs faster than mine.

a 3-4 minutes phone call back to singapore only costs about 22cents. sing.

OMG i was watching mtv and jason mraz's lucky came on.

then i realized the settings jason mraz was in looked DAMN FAMILIAR. like i've seen it before. the cathedrale, the background, the building, the cobbled streets...

then i saw the statue behind him. WTF OMG IT'S PRAGUE'S OLD TIME SQUARE. and i've really seen it. and was there.

surfing is bloody tough, but the waves are good. i was like the ONLY asian at the beach though. which was kinda strange.

might be going to another beach for kayaking later. :)

in all, will be to the beach three days in a row. but not very tanned yet. at least not in my opinion. can't really tell. other people might have a different opinion though.


and the food in my host family is really really good. we had cornbread TWICE (one from scratch and one from mix), pancakes and all sorts of things for breakfast. and lots of good stuff for dinner. my hosts can really cook and bake. even the dad.

i even had barbecued food. but DAMMIT I MISS MY SAMBAL.
