we had a full day off school today.

i kind of knew it earlier. so i didn't bother attending school.

my class planned to queue at the donut factory once they were let off from school.

my class [only a few, like 5 people] started queuing at ten o'clock. i joined them at ten plus. and there were already a group of people in front of us. mind you. the shop opens at about 12. or 12 plus. so we were there EARLY.

haha. but it was fun. we just stood there and talk cock for a few hours. and waited.

people kept cutting the queue [because the queue was separated in the middle so as to allow shoppers to cross the junction]. wuchean had to keep going up to people and tell them that they have to join the queue BEHIND. so they turned back. and their eyes grew HUGE. i guess they didn't expect such a long queue for a shop that hadn't open yet. haha.

haha. i bought two boxes, each box containing a dozen with the same order.

and i did that! without her telling me anything. haha.

actually, i bought the donuts, partly because i got confused about the date of her birthday, and because her hockey team won the finals in the inter-jc competition.

and by the way. vj beat rj in the girls' basketball finals.

haha. by the second quarter, we were expecting a loss. but we fought back!

in the fourth quarter our team was like possessed. they played damn well, scoring countless times and defending damn well.

haha. how's soccer girls then?

i'm kind of disgusted when i'm in friendster.

my sisters told me that there was someone called shuang who likes mcr too. so i decided to search.

after a few pages, i gave up.

you may think me a poseur if i say this, but...

there are lots of people who try too hard to act cool in their choice of music. when i first read their music interests, i saw bands like a7x, alkaline trio (though some people can't spell their names correctly), mcr, HIM, and others, scrolling down the list i found singers like PCD, akon and avril lavinge.

hah. seriously, i don't think its possible for your music taste to range so wide. the topics talked about are so different. one talks about emotions, be it hate, anger or love, the other talks about sex, sex, and bitchiness.

haha. i was mugging away for my chem test.

the mugging was kind of pointless. seeing that i still didn't know how to do the questions.

went drinking yesterday. tired today.

anyway. today was supposed to be 2.4km run. then it started to rain in the morning. so i prayed for it to not stop raining til after p.e.

and it really rained for a really long long long time.

but it didn't matter, since we had a fucking STUDENT COUNCIL INVESTITURE. which lasted all the way to 9 plus. and we didn't have p.e.

what a waste of rain.

and i had actually hyped myself up for the run.

my new shoes! haha. i'm totally in love with it. until it becomes dirty.

i'm damn lucky.

carmen, pauline and i went to far east today. and i wanted to buy this pair. the whole shopping centre only had one exact same pair, and it was a fucking size TWELVE. my feet's not exactly big. so i couldn't buy it.
tried looking in more stores, but, fuck. DON'T HAVE. so i was fucking disappointed.

we decided to go eat, since carmen was hungry and we were thirsty. (i got hungry along the way too. haha) and the cafes at far east was fucking crowded. so carmen decided to go wisma, since she wanted to go topshop too. and so we went.

on a whim, i said to go to world of sports. carmen said won't have one. and i told her not to dash my hopes. glancing around, i saw the 'e' sign. and immediately moved over to the shelves. fuck. i only saw two designs of bernie (the type of etnies i wanted) and they didn't look nice. so i asked the salesperson whether got more colours or not. and the salesperson pointed UP. being not very tall, i didn't notice the top shelves. FUCK! i saw the ones i wanted! was damn happy... asked for a size seven. and the salesperson came back with a size EIGHT. said it was the smallest pair they had. being the hopeful person that i was, i of course tried it on. it was too fucking BIG. i could stick my foot and my thumb into the shoe and my foot still had space to MOVE.

so we asked the salesperson if there were other outlets with size seven. and the person asked for my number so that they could check and call me back another time. and i was like "...". so we asked if it was possible to check NOW. and the person said cannot. cause at the time every store will be busy, and no one will have time to pick up the phone. thus i had to go and leave my number.

but surprisingly, the person started calling other outlets when i was still there. waited for awhile. and it turned out that CINELEISURE had the pair i wanted! i kind of started grinning at that point. yea yea yea.. as the story goes, i bought my shoes! haha.

carmen's wondering why i don't get a converse, cause it looks similar. i just smiled. that'll be my secret! but i think jingyi will know.
