right. ongying and i went to catch a movie yesterday, and... we learnt that clearly we look younger than we do.


this has happened a few times already, being mistaken for sec or jc kids.


at the cinema counter, we couldn't hear the guy clearly (i had no idea whether he asked if we were students or not. i thought i heard, "two tickets?" but ongying heard differently). so i just said, "yarh 2 tickets.

when we reached into our wallets to pay, we were like, wtf only 6 dollars each? checking the tickets we realized it was student price. i always thought that identification was required (we saw another girl having to show her pass).

then we went to pie kia and bought two small pies. for 2 dollars. when each pie cost more than a dollar. again, i reached into my wallet ready to pay like 3 dollars or something, and the person was like 2 dollars! whatever. paid and left.


well i don't mind looking young. but not immature. young=student price. why the hell not?
