Everything's changing, we gotta move on.

Alright story, what's the folks?

yeah well. anyway. more of the thing about my mother not understanding NO.

she kept asking me if i wanted to go to batam, because the shipyard we're working at was hosting a dinner last night.

i was saying things like, 'i don't feel like', 'i don't want', 'must i really go' and stuff like that (because all i wanted to do was go home and play guitar hero).

well. my mom asked me to the point where she was halfway home going to bath, then she called me, ask me again, with me giving the same replies, then she said, "I'M COMING BACK TO FETCH YOU SO YOU CAN GO."

like the total ultimate WHAT THE FUCK.

what's the point of asking me just so that you can force me to go?

anyway, the dinner thing was pretty ok. we only stayed for an hour's plus cause we had to catch the last ferry. food wasn't BAD. and there was a fireworks show that lasted longer than bloody national day. and nearer too. near to the point where sometimes, if the firework wasn't shot properly, it came down very near us. and by very near, i meant you-could-totally-see-the-sparks-at-eye-level-or-lower kind of near. so. there were fireworks that were shooting right above our heads and we could feel the remnants of them dropping down and hitting us. i was actually pretty freaked out by the point where we saw how bloody near the stuff was. but the entire thing cost like ten thousand bucks. which in batam was like sixty million. and that was a lot.

by the way, there's this place in paragon, GASTRONOMIA, which has totally amazing food. it's not a restaurant, but a place where you take away stuff. their cakes are AWESOME, their scones are DELICIOUS, their pizzas ROCK, their cupcakes CHOCOLATEY, and their meringues OH-SO-GOOD. and they still have sandwiches and chocolates and stuff. seriously. go check them out.
the tiramisu is god-damned good. i had only a bite yesterday because i was so full, but i'm going to enjoy the rest of the box later. haha. and their selection of cakes is LARGE. i stared and stared and i think i haven't finished seeing all the options because there were too many to choose from. but i chose some yoghurt crumble and tiramisu. YUM!
